Hi, I'm Amanda!

Initially intended to be a single show, All Femme Fronted was created in July of 2022 when a bandmate and I trying to come up with unique ideas for shows. As the group was fronted by a woman, we landed on All Femme Fronted: a show featuring acts exclusively with female or gender-diverse leads. When the show saw some success in February of 2023, and after following the suggestions of a professor of mine, I decided to start creating show opportunities for musicians.

All Femme Fronted evolved to become a concert series and later, a place to promote local female and gender-diverse musicians and build awareness about cool opportunities for musicians. I hope that by showcasing the incredible contributions of our community to Vancouver’s underground music scene I can advocate for more gender-diversity on more local bills, especially in genre scenes where femme representation may be lacking.
